Biology junior Jillian Kline is shown here presenting her research poster at the recent Science and Math Fall Research and Internship Poster Session. Jillian worked with biology faculty member Hildy Sanders to study gene expression in the baker’s yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae under different growth conditions. The work was an extension of previous students’ work studying the entire yeast genome with microarrays.
