The students use standard microbiological techniques, including Gram staining and morphological identification (shown here), to identify the organisms as they would in the clinical laboratory.

Congratulations to our May 2009 Medical Technology graduates – Melissa Ramtahal, Megan Zadra and Wendie Zearfoss. All three passed the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) licensing exam, giving the SU Medical Technology program a 100% pass rate for 2009!
