A model for the function of insulin that was created by high school science teachers in SU labs is shown here (click on the link for a video). The teachers created the model during intensive two week training for the Project Lead the Way Biomedical Sciences curriculum. The innovative curriculum uses hand-on activities, projects and problems to teach students science.
