Biology major Sara Vogtman is completing her Senior Internship Capstone at Pro Physical Therapy in Abingdon, Maryland. She works with the therapists as they plan and carry out patient treatments. Sara is gaining practical experience in the physical therapy field, and learning from professionals in the field. As part of her internship, Sara is also researching the rise of the use of spinal fusion surgery for a variety of conditions and its success rates.
