Junior Biology major Jenna Moyer recently presented her Biology Honors contract project to the department. Her work was an extension of her summer research with Dr. Joe Matanoski, in which she found that fruit flies show an age-related decline in short term memory. For her honors project, Jenna used her research results to develop a laboratory activity that will be used in an animal behavior class or in developmental biology.
